Time to continue Part #2! Next stop that we explored was Clarke Quay - so we walked from Maxwell all the way to Central. Explored a few other places as well when we got lost. Haha! So we went to the basement level of Central and passed by a Japanese convenient store and they were selling cute cartoon biscuits - like the hello kitty one below. However, everything was quite pricey!

Then we walked to Liang Court - just about a 7 minutes walk from Central. Heard ravings (
Ladyironchef) about a Japanese Restaurant there so we decided to check it out! Also, a must go-to place is of course the Meidi-Ya Supermarket! I love visiting it because it really has a lot of good stuffs inside, you can find many snacks from Japan too.
So here's the restaurant - we were there about 6.45, it was already full-house at that timing and when we left, there was quite a long queue! I love the design of the toothpicks holder, it kinda caught my attention once i was seated :)
The food! Both bf and I ordered just one set because we had some snacks before that so we weren't that hungry, this set cost about $13.90++ and i guess it's a reasonable pricing. We totally love how crispy the Tonkatsu was! It was so YUMMMMS. The salad was also good because it had sesame dressing! 4.5/5 stars!
Always so engrossed with his iPhone -facepalm-
Lastly, our dessert! It was like the best Japanese dessert i've ever had.. Zenzai (Red Bean Soup) I'm not quite a fan of beans but this totally proved me wrong. I love mochis too! So chewy and it was a perfect combination with the soup. One bowl, $4.9 - slightly more expensive compared to other restaurants, but it was worth it. It's a must-order-dessert when i revisit once again!
