Valentines' Day

I am back! It's so weird that i only have the urge to blog on Saturdays. Last 3 post on my blog are all posted on a Saturday!?

Hahaha. Okay gotta blog about V Day!

So probably around 1-2 weeks before V Day, we booked tickets for Marina Bay Sands Skypark! Have been wanting to be up there since mid last year. We were rather late as i've a submission in the noon, but nonetheless it was great being up there! Even though the ticks are like $20 per pax, the view up there was spectacular. Nice place to chill only if it's not that crowded! We stayed for around an hour plus and came down soon after it became real crowded.

Thereafter we took a bus to Suntec to settle our dinner. Initially wanted to give Marche a try but later did we realize that there wasn't any marche anymore. :( So after walking 2 rounds at Suntec, we finally settled in Ichiban Boshi! And... on that day Ichiban was only serving Valentines' Day set meal. No usual menu. -____-

In the end we ordered this set meal! And usually I don't really take

raw food but their salmon that day was good!

That was the only panorama shot that succeeded, they didn't allow tripods so i tried taking using free-hands but it didn't work. What a pity! Lastly... my holidays are here! Sort of? This was the last week of school and i'm left with 2 submissions for next week. Hooray! Time to work my ass of to earn some allowance! :p

Busy week ahead!

Here I am, blogging once again after a week! Last week was a hectic one, busy with one major submission (which i'm so glad that it's over!), but another thing is - next week is disaster. 14 Feb - 2nd major submission, 15th Feb - 2 submissions, 17th Feb - 1 presentation, 1 submission. I want to enjoy on Valentines' so i'll have to work my ass off this weekend! Alright so some photos to end off this post.

Visited the National Museum weeks back for a school's field trip! The exhibition there was:

Lunch at SST with bf last week! Sashimi salad with Sesame Dressing and my Nabeiyaki Udon while his was a plate of yummy garlic rice :)

New layout

Hi there! So here's my new layout from blogskins.com. I'm too busy to create one myself! The title at the side "Back to Mars" was initially the url i wanted, but too bad it long ago got taken by someone else. ☹ Alright gonna do a food review and introduce a nice Jap restaurant to dine in. We ordered a Chicken & Seafood Set, Chawamushi, Garlic fried rice and fried rice with egg to share!

We requested for the counter seat so it's more fun eating and looking at how the chef cooks :) Btw, look at the bronze metal cover, it's something even more interesting inside!

Prawns, Scallops and Chicken! Both of us were like "mmm... so yummy right?!" Haha!

Yup! Chawamushi. That was the "thing" inside the bronze metal cover. I swear it was the coolest one i've ever seen. It was an onion outside the steamed egg! Such good creativity, haha. It tasted SO GOOD too! (Thumbs up up up hehe)

So conclusion, i'll be back for more teppanyaki next time! Price wise - A lil' pricey, but it's worth it. There are 2 outlets, one in Jurong Point and another in Nex. Do try it if you're there!
